During my recent trip to Lankaran, I visited the picturesque village of Dashtatuk (Daştatük).
Nestled at the foot of the Talysh Mountains and within the boundaries of the Hirkan National Park, Dashtatuk offers a unique glimpse into the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region.
The village’s name is derived from the Talysh words “dasht” (steppe, plain) and “tuk” (rice field), translating to “rice-planted plain.”
The serene landscapes, rich with the history of rice cultivation, provided a stunning backdrop for my photography.
