Just returned from an unforgettable journey to Lankaran, the captivating capital of the ancient Lankaran Khanate, nestled in the picturesque south of Azerbaijan.
From the vibrant city center to the charming old town streets, I immersed myself in the rich history and culture of this storied city – exploring the bustling local market, delving into the solemn confines of the old prison where Stalin once languished, and crossing the iconic metal bridge that links Lankaran’s diverse neighborhoods.
Each corner unveiled a tale, each sight a glimpse into Lankaran’s illustrious past and vibrant present.
Grateful for the opportunity to document its heritage and charm.
